“Domestic Violence Litigation Before, During, and After COVID -19”, Maryland State Bar Association Webinar, May 28, 2020. Mr. Emden, along with two other experts, addressed 161 Maryland lawyers throughout the state on methods of handling protective order matters during the COVID -19 pandemic.

Maryland State Bar Association, Summer 2013. Marc Emden will serve on a panel on the rules of ethics in Maryland and in other jurisdictions at the Annual Meeting held in Ocean City, Maryland entitled: “NAME THAT SANCTION – CAN SIMILAR CONDUCT LEAD TO DIFFERENT SANCTIONS?”.

In March of 2013. Mr. Emden joined Officer Aubrey of the Montgomery County Police to present a program on the risks of texting and driving to teachers, students and family members atWalter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Emden discussed the legal consequences of violating the distracted driving laws and other legal consequences of this dangerous practice.

In January of 2013, Walter Johnson High School invited Mr. Emden to join DEA agent, Namon Jones, who spoke with students and parents in a full school assembly during Drug and Alcohol Week involving the legal consequences of drug and alcohol abuse for both students and parents.
